Working as an Online Product Tester gives you the chance to evaluate and critique a range of digital products while working remotely from your preferred location. Your key responsibility will involve delivering truthful, thorough observations regarding performance, usability, design, and the overall experience users encounter.
To excel in this position, you’ll need strong observational skills and the capacity to adhere to detailed guidelines. Strong writing abilities are essential for articulating your observations in a structured manner. Prior experience isn’t necessary—however, if you have genuine enthusiasm for exploring and assessing software applications, that’s considered valuable.
Roles: Your primary task involves installing applications on your mobile device or tablet and thoroughly exploring all available functions. Following this assessment, you’ll compose a brief written evaluation summarizing your impressions and documenting any issues encountered.
Requirements: You must own or have regular access to at least one device from this list; iPad, iPhone, Android-based smartphone, or Android-based tablet
Contract length: Ongoing, with no predetermined end date
Rate: $35 hourly rate (subject to variation based on app sophistication and the extent of analysis needed for your evaluation)
Skills/background needed:
Device ownership or consistent access to a smartphone or tablet with capability to download and operate applications
Self-directed work ethic
Willingness to meticulously adhere to written directions
Minimum 5+ weekly hours you can dedicate
Stable broadband connection
Hours per week: Adaptable schedule.
Location: Work from anywhere with internet access (candidates from the United States are particularly encouraged).
